Saying Goodbye

BLYTHEWOOD – The Blythewood High School softball team released white balloons Tuesday evening prior to their game with Spring Valley in memory of former BHS softball player Sydney Burnsed who died Sunday morning in a crash on I-26. The somber ceremony included a prayer by the FCA student leader Matthew Phillips. As the balloons floated into the sky, a recording was played of a song that Burnsed had posted to her Facebook last week.
