Obituary: Jacqueline Miller Reynolds

WINNSBORO – Mrs. Jacqueline “Jackie” Miller Reynolds, 88, of Winnsboro passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018.  Born in Statesville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Nonnie Norman McBride.

Jackie earned her degree in Math from Duke University.  She then went on to own Insurance of Fairfield.  She was the first woman to in SC to receive CPCU designation, past President of the Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce, Fairfield Rotary Club, and Board of Central Carolina Community Foundation.  Jackie was a girl scout leader for many years and a life long member of Sion Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Peni Chandler (Jim), Jaye Herr (Albert), Beth Miller; brother, Steve Cook (Beverlie); sister, Betty Boseman; grandchildren, Albert Herr IV (Tiffany), Sara Tie (Jason), Jason Maurer; three great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and stepfather, Fred D. Cooke, Jackie is predeceased by husbands, William James Miller, James W. Jackson, and Benoni O. Reynolds.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Sion Presbyterian church cemetery conducted by Reverend Rebecca Carpenter.  The family will receive friends after the service in the church fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to a charity of one’s choice.
