COLUMBIA – Bill Wiseman, of Blythewood, placed first in the 55-59 age group and 13th overall at the Tri the Midlands sprint triathlon held at Lake Carolina on April 14. The triathlon consisted of a 500 meter swim, a 14-mile bike ride and a 5K run. Wiseman is training for Ironman races in New York and California in the fall.
