To the Citizens of District 7 of Fairfield County:
I, Clarence Gilbert, would like to formally announce my candidacy for the District 7 seat on Fairfield County Council. With the current Council Chairman and District 7 representative, Mr. Billy Smith, not running for re-election, I feel that now is the time to step forward and offer myself to help improve our County.
I am a lifelong resident of Fairfield County and care very deeply about its future and the quality of life it offers for its citizens. I will not make, nor do I come with false promises— but I will commit to you that if I am elected, I will work as hard for our County and its citizens as I know how. My number one goal on Council will be to help bring in the economic development and jobs that we so dearly need.
If I am elected, I will be a positive voice for District 7 and for all of Fairfield County. I would greatly appreciate your support and vote.
