Jackson commits to Iowa State

BLYTHEWOOD – Star Bengals hooper Tre Jackson has decided on his collegiate basketball home. Jackson is headed to Big 12 country and has committed to the Iowa State Cyclones.

Jackson was a member of the team that made it to the State Championship game in 2017 and led the Bengals to a semi-final appearance last year. Last season he averaged 20 points and 3.3 assists per game.

Jackson is slated as a three-star prospect by 24/7Sports and is the ninth best recruit in the South Carolina for 2019. He is also listed as the 39th best point guard prospect.

Jackson also considered the University of South Carolina, Winthrop, Murray State, Florida Gulf Coast and the College of Charleston.
