BLYTHEWOOD – The Westwood Redhawk boys traveled to the Bahamas last week, and they returned as 2018 Tabernacle Christian Academy Thanksgiving Tournament Champions. Ta’Jay Dunlap earned MVP honors for the tourney, and he carried that success over into the Redhawks home opener on Tuesday night.
Dunlap’s 24-point performance on Tuesday night led Westwood to a 66-58 win over the White Knoll Timberwolves. Russell Jones Jr, who was named to tourney All-Star team, had 21-point performance.
The Redhawks head to Winnsboro tonight for a 7:30 matchup with the Fairfield Central Griffins.
