Bengals shut out Sumter

BLYTHEWOOD – Kendall Parker dominated on the mound in Tuesday night’s 10-0 win over Sumter. Parker picked a complete game shutout, surrendering no runs on four hits over five innings, striking out one and walking none.

Kailey Shannon picked up an RBI double in the first inning. Lauren Hardy and Parker followed with doubles in the third.

Shannon and Hardy each finished 2-2 with an RBI while Parker went 2-3 with two RBIs. Grace Campbell picked up three RBIs with a triple, and Haley McCoy snagged an RBI single. Anna Fridriksson and Kalei Swanier each had a hit.

The Bengals hosted Dutch Fork on Wednesday, but scores were not available at press time. They face off with Sumter at home on Friday.
