IRMO – The Westwood track programs were on hand for the Bob Jenkin Coaches Classic at Dutch Fork High School over the weekend. The Westwood boys had quite the showing and came in at 12th overall, while the Lady Redhawks brought a 20th overall finish.
The Redhawks’ 4×400 relay team came home with a first place finish, and the 4×800 team came in at third. Christian Horn came in at sixth in the 200 meter dash and pulled a first place finish in the 400. His teammate Paul McCants was right behind him in the 400. McCants brought home gold in the 800.
Sierra McCant had the highest individual finish for the Lady Redhawks with a 10th place finish in the high jump. The 4×400 team came in the 15th spot, and Alanie Foster finished 19th in the 800.
