BLYTHEWOOD – Westwood softball faced a tough York opponent on Tuesday night, falling 10-0. Emily Hedrick led the Redhawks’ offensive efforts with a single.
Marlena Perez pitched 4.2 innings. Perez faced 30 batters, striking out nine and allowing nine hits and seven earned runs.
The Redhawks faced Rock Hill on Wednesday, but scores were not available at press time. They travel to Lancaster on Friday for a conference game and will host North Central on Monday at 7:15.
