RIDGEWAY – The 2019 Arts on the Ridge featured the art of writing during its second annual literary festival. Organizer Phyllis Gutierrez welcomed attendees to the whimsically yarn-bombed town and invited them to visit with 17 S.C. authors who were on hand to talk about literature and sign their own books.
This year’s Friend of the Arts award was given to author Wanda Craig. Surrounding the book festival were free musical performances, Plein Air painters, arts and crafts vendors and the Fairfield County Farmers and Artisans Market.
