WINNSBORO – Unit 16 of the American Legion Auxiliary distributed poppies in the community over the Memorial Day weekend in honor of veterans. Donations, not required, go strictly to programs benefitting veteran services. ALA Unit 16 meets in Winnsboro on the first Wednesday of each month (September through May) at 3 pm at the Winnsboro Senior Center.
