Quinn to head Westwood football

BLYTHEWOOD – Westwood High school has named Matt Quinn as the new Head Football after Dustin Curtis decided to move on to AC Flora. In 2016, Quinn served on Westwood’s as the Offensive Coordinator.

Prior coming to Westwood, Quinn served at Westwide as Offensive Coordinator and as a quarterback and receiver coach at Darlington. He played for Bobby Bentley at Byrnes and was a Shrine Bowl participant at the wide receiver position. The past 2 seasons, Quinn has been the head coach at Union Pines High School in North Carolina, where he led the team to its first winning season in 10 years in 2017.
