Ronald Weeks and Andrew Brown, Jr., and, or if they be dead, their Child or Children, heirs at law, devisees, executors, administrators, legal representatives, or distributes of his estate; and all other persons unknown to the Plaintiff herein having or claiming to have any right, title or interest in or lien upon the premises herein mentioned and described, as heirs at law, devisees, grantees, successors, assigns or otherwise, all such unknown adult persons being in a class designated as John Doe and any unknown infants or persons under legal disability or persons in the military service of the United States being designated as Richard Roe, and South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles.

TO THE DEFENDANTS ABOVE-NAMED:

YOU ARE HEREBY SUMMONED and required to answer the Complaint herein, a copy of which is herewith served upon you, and to serve a copy of your Answer to said Complaint on the subscriber at Post Office Box 1006, Winnsboro, South Carolina  29180, within thirty (30) days from the service thereof, exclusive of the date of such service; and if you fail to answer the Complaint within the time aforesaid, judgment by default may be rendered against you for the relief demanded in the Petition.

YOU WILL PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the original Summons and Complaint in the above entitled action were filed in the Office of the Clerk of Court for Fairfield County on July 24,  2019.

LIS PENDENS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an action has been commenced by the Plaintiffs above named against the Defendants above named to quiet title to the following described premises, said real estate, being at the time of the filing of this Lis Pendens, situate in the County of Fairfield, State of South Carolina, and described as follows, to wit:

All that certain piece, parcel or tract of land, lying, being and situate in the County of Fairfield and State of South Carolina, containing thirty-eight (38) acres, more or less, bounded  north by lands  of S. M. Hartin; east by lands of Estate of Chas. P. Wray, deceased; south by lands of Robert Marshall; and west by the public road across which lies the lands of George E. Moore, said tract of land being so much of a tract of 48 1/8 acres conveyed to the said George E. Moore by deed of J. J. McEachern, et al, recorded in the Office of the Clerk of Court for Fairfield County in Book AW of Deeds at page 495.  Said tract of 48 1/8 acres represented on a plat made by H. Edmunds, Surveyor, dated January 1872, and recorded in said Office in Book AD of Deeds at page 609.

The property is now bounded as follows:  on the east by lands of Frazier; south by lands of Ridgell, Lewis, Johnson, Miller and Hare; west by right-of-way of Hood Road; and northwest by lands of Vanderhorst and Mattox.

Being the identical property conveyed to Edith Vanderhost by deed of George E. Moore recorded in the Office of the Clerk of Court for Fairfield County November 14, 1928, in Book of Deeds “BM” at page 463.

NOTICE OF ORDER APPOINTING GUARDIAN AD LITEM NISI

TO: THE DEFENDANTS HEREIN, NAMES AND ADDRESSES UNKNOWN, INCLUDING ANY THEREOF WHO MAY BE MINORS OR UNDER OTHER LEGAL DISABILITY, IF ANY, WHETHER RESIDENTS OR NON-RESIDENTS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, AND TO THE NATURAL, GENERAL, TESTAMENTARY GUARDIAN, CONSERVATOR, OR COMMITTEE, OR OTHERWISE, AND TO THE PERSON WITH WHOM THEY MAY RESIDE, IF ANY THERE BE:

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Order appointing Jonathan M. Goode, Esquire as Guardian ad Litem Nisi, for all persons whomsoever herein collectively designated as Richard Roe, Defendants herein, names and addresses unknown, including any thereof who may be minors or under other legal disability, whether residents or non-residents of South Carolina, was filed in the Office of the Clerk of Court for Fairfield County on the ____ day of _________, 2019.

YOU WILL FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that the said minors or persons under other legal disability, if any, or someone on their behalf or on behalf of any of them, shall within thirty (30) days after service of notice of this Order upon them by publication, exclusive of the day of such service, procure to be appointed for them, or any of them, a Guardian ad Litem to represent them for the purposes of this action, the appointment of said Guardian ad Litem Nisi shall become absolute.
