COLUMBIA – The Redhawks took down Ridge View on Sept. 17 in their first conference match of the season on Tuesday.
After falling 25-19 in the first set, the Redhawks blazed back to take game two 25-7, game three 26-24 and game 4 25-20.
Westwood tallied two in the win column in River Bluff’s Sept. 7 tournament.
The Redhawks defeated Aiken High School 2-1 in three tight sets. Westwood took game one 25-21, Aiken won game two 26-24, but the Redhawks held on for the 16-14 game three win.
Westwood also took down Charleston Collegiate by a 2-0 margin with 25-10 and 25-11 scores.
AC Flora and Northside Christian both defeated the Redhawks. Flora bested Westwood in two tight sets by 27-25 and 26-24 scores, while Northside won 25-23 and 25-17.
The Redhawks are back in action tonight at South Pointe for another region contest.
