Treasures Await

RIDGEWAY – Two new consignments have opened in Ridgeway recently. Carol Allen, who owns Laura’s Tea Room, opened a consignment in the former town fire station. Allen maintains the fire station ‘look’ by leaving the rollup doors to the four bays for an open air market style shop. The Station is located at 170 Palmer St. and is open Tues. – Sat.  from 1-:30 a.m.  – 4:30 p.m.  Allen’s shop sells an eclectic mix of new, rehomed and craft merchandise.

Just down the street, the former Cotton Yard Market is now the new Cotton Yard Market, with Ryan Martin at the helm. Martin is the son of Robbie Martin who was the proprietor of the former Cotton Yard Market at the same location. The shop is located at 110 S. Palmer St. and is open Tues. – Sat. from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. A section of Martin’s shop makes available consigner booths.
