BLYTHEWOOD – This year’s Blythewood Relay for Life event is set for May 8 from 6 – 10 at Doko Meadows Park. It is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.
Kicking off the annual fundraiser are this year’s sponsors: Blythewood High School Principal Matt Sherman, left, and Westwood High School Principal Cheryl Guy, center right, standing with speaker Dennis Ballentine and Stephanie Reely, Southern Region Community Development Manager. The four met Sunday to organize and seek volunteers to help carry out the spring relay which honors survivors, remembers loved ones lost and raises money to further the American Cancer Society’s life-saving mission.
