WINNSBORO – A long parade of well-wishers in a vehicle caravan sporting sparkly signs and colorful balloons snaked past the Fairfield County School District office on Friday afternoon to congratulation Superintendent J. R. Green for being named Superintendent of the Year for South Carolina.
Green and his family stood in front of the district office and waved to the passing crowd of friend, board members, teachers and students.
