WINNSBORO – Approximately 20 members of two Winnsboro garden clubs – Anemone Garden Club and Town & County Garden Club – gathered Sunday, Nov. 15 to plant two apple trees and a fig tree in the lot behind the Fairfield County Museum.
The clubs’ combined goal is to start a community orchard, planting several fruit trees each year, for everyone in the community to eventually be able to pick from and enjoy.
