WINNSBORO – Steve Eldridge Davenport, 74, of Winnsboro passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021. Born (5/7/46) in Winnsboro, he was the son of the late Jesse L. and Jessie Mae Medlin Davenport.
Steve is survived by his wife, Brenda Myers Davenport; daughter, Brandon Michelle Davenport; brother, Kenneth Davenport (Merri); and sisters, JoAnn Pullen, Carolyn Matthews (Gene). In addition to his parents, Steve is predeceased by three brothers, Morris, Ellis, and Jerry Davenport; brother-in-law, Olan Pullen; and sister-in-law, Mitzi Davenport.
Graveside services only will be held at 1 o’clock PM Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Fairfield Memorial Cemetery. Social distancing will be implemented, and masks are required. Public viewing hours will be held from 11-4 o’clock PM Wednesday at Pope Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cornerstone Church of God, PO Box 986, Winnsboro, SC 29180 or to the American Cancer Society.
