BH month program set for Feb. 26

BLYTHEWOOD – In celebration of Black History Month, the Blythewood Historical Society and Museum will host a virtual black history program, “And Still We Rise.”

“Due to COVID-19 restrictions and concern for the health and safety of our community, we will not have an in-person event this year,” program director Doris Coleman said. We will be presenting a virtual program inclusive of history, the spoken word, music, religion and education.”

The program can be viewed on the museum’s website at blythewoodhistoricalsociety.org, on Feb. 26. It will also be archived on the website so that it will be accessible at any time in the future.
