Bengals compete at Falcon Invitational

COLUMBIA – Blythewood girls track and field competed in Ben Lippen’s George Johnson Falcon Invitational on April 10.

The 4×100 meter relay team finished in first place with a time of 50.86, and Makeshira Brown also pulled a first place finish with a 16.02 time in 100m hurdles. Brown also finished seventh in the 100 meter dash with a 13.61 time.

Arianna Williams placed third in the 100 meter dash and fourth in the 200 meter dash with times of 12.64 and 25.08 respectively. Hailey Duncan placed fifth in the 100 meter dash with a 13.17 finish and seventh in the 200 meter dash with a 27.43 finish.

The team was scheduled to compete at Spring Valley on Wednesday, but scores were not available at press time. Next they will head to Columbia International University on Saturday for the Rams High School Invitational.
