Blythewood soccer falls to Rock Hill, defeats Spring Valley

BLYTHEWOOD – Blythewood soccer moves to 9-4 on the season after defeating Spring Valley 2-1 in a region contest. Justin Ellis and Ryan Hart had goals in the win. Connor Jackson and KJ Mack had assists. Jackson Gouvin had four saves.

The win piggybacks off of a 0-2 loss to Rock Hill last Friday, the Bengals’ first conference loss of the season. Jackson Gouvin had seven saves in the loss. Blythewood beat Rock Hill earlier in the season in a shootout.

They will face at home on Friday, travel to Spring Valley next Monday and host Dutch Fork for a non-region match next Tuesday. Game times are set for 7:15 p.m.
