BLYTHEWOOD – Westwood track and field hosted Irmo High School last Thursday and pulled a number of first place finishes.
Brianna Rodriguqez finished first in 100m dash (12.81) and in 800 meter run (2:29.74). Ticora Gaskin placed first in the 200m dash with a 27.71 time. Alean Robinson’s 1:11.49 time put her in first for the 400m dash. Aniya Woodruff placed first in discus (68-9) and shot put (25-11).
For the boys, Robert Johnson placed first in 100m dash (11.31) and 200m dash (22.84). Dominick Young placed first in 400m dash with a 54.20 finish. Aiden Keck placed first in 800m (2:23.16) and 1600m (17.43). Riggs Dash pulled a first place finish in 110m hurdles with a 17.43 time, and Khalil Donald placed first in high jump at 5-10.
The girls and boys 4x100m and boys 4×800 relay teams finished first.
In the April 2-3 Beach Run invitational in Myrtle Beach, Aniya Woodruff finished first place in the 400m dash with a 59.59 time and pulled second place finishes in the 100m dash (12.58) and 200m dash (25.66).
Westwood is set to compete in the Raider Twilight Invitational on April 16.
