BLYTHEWOOD – On Tuesday, the Blythewood boys got by Region 1-5A second-place opponent Mauldin with a 1-0 victory in the first round.
Blythewood’s Terry Watson scored Blythewood’s lone goal with a header in the first half. Carson Brockwell got the assist. Senior Jackson Gouvin had four saves in the game.
On Friday, the Bengals (12-5) will travel to the upstate to play the winner of Wednesday’s Fort Mill-at-Dorman matchup.
