WINNSBORO – The first of four big Holiday Markets will open this Saturday, Nov. 20 at the Fairfield County market building in downtown Winnsboro. Hosted by the Fairfield County Farmers and Artisans Market, this market day and others on Nov. 27, Dec. 4 and Dec. 11 will feature vendors selling unique holiday gifts – leather crafts, holiday candies, locally produced lotions, soaps, herbs, cooking spices, collards and other winter vegetables, pies, cakes, jewelry, holiday aprons and much more.
Kids can enter a coloring contest…color the page on Nov. 20 and the winners will be announced at the Nov. 27 market.
The markets will be open, from 9 a.m. until noon-ish. The market building is located at 117 E. Washington St. behind the town clock. For information, call 803-635-4242.
