WINNSBORO – Representatives of the S.C. Dept. of Transportation and the State Scenic Byway Steering Committee met with local leaders at the Fairfield County Museum Dec. 2, after touring the proposed route of the Piedmont Gateway State Scenic Byway.
The byway, if approved, would guide motorists along a 50-plus mile loop around the county, including through Winnsboro’s downtown and feature some of the county’s top attractions.
