BLYHEWOOD – Budgeting is underway at town hall and council is scheduled to have two budget workshops on April 21 and May 5 before finalizing the budget in June.
Staff spent last week working on budget proposals. The mayor will meet with the Town’s bookkeeper next week to go over details of the budget prior to the workshops.
First reading of the budget will be held May 23.
Second and final reading and a public hearing will be held June 27.
The public is welcome to attend those workshops which are held on Thursday mornings at 9 a.m.
