Patricia McCann Cibo

BLYTHEWOOD – Patricia McCann Cibo, 80, of Blythewood, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, February 25, 2022, with her family by her side. Born on April 3, 1941, in Richmond, VA, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary Anne Camper McCann. Mrs. Cibo was a devoted homemaker who had a deep love for her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed serving in Nursing Homes where she ministered to many residents. As a member of Denver Baptist Church, she also enjoyed singing in the choir.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Jerry T. Cibo; children, Debbie Cibo Spivey (Darryl), all of Blythewood, Jerry T. Cibo, Jr. (Cindy), of Monroe, NC, and Leslie Cibo Polizzotto (Gino), of New York, NY; grandchildren, Matthew Martin, Scott Spivey (Tid), Austin McManus, Jacob Cibo and Whitney Jones; great-grandchildren, Rose Spivey and Khaosuay Spivey; and her brother, David McCann (Karen), of Richmond, VA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Cibo; and brother, William McCann, Jr. (Barbara).

The graveside service for Mrs. Cibo was held at 3 o’clock, Tuesday, March 1st, at Memorial Gardens of Columbia, with Pastor Dwayne Martin officiating. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Melissa Corley with Amedisys Hospice and Bart Spivey for their love and care in recent months.
