The Fairfield Central High School academic team competed with other like-size high school in the north central region of SC in an academic challenge sponsored by the Old English Consortium Regional Quiz Bowl Tournaments.
Fairfield Central was named champion over Chester in the small high school division and will compete at the state championship tournament in Camden on Friday.
