BLYTHEWOOD – Blythewood Middle School claimed the top spot of the 11th annual Quiz Whiz Middle School Academic Tournament, the school’s second straight win. Quiz Whiz is a Richland School District Two sponsored event that features sixth through eighth graders from all seven of the district’s middle schools.
Blythewood Middle School, coached by Janie Hamrick and Stephanie Turiak, won the competition by winning five matches and the championship round against Kelly Mill Middle School.
