BLYTHEWOOD – Last week, Blythewood High School announced that former assistant baseball coach Dolan Crolley had been named the team’s interim head coach for the 2022-2023 season.
The announcement followed head coach Banks Faulkner’s resignation on August 4. Faulkner, who served as head coach of the Bengals for six years, accepted a position at Newberry College as the team’s pitching coach. Crolley has assisted the Bengals under Faulkner for two years.
“Great choice,” Faulker commented on Twitter. “The boys will play hard for him and he’ll do great things. The Bengals are in good hands.”
