JAMES ISLAND – Finishing in 28th and 31st places as a team may not sound like an accomplishment, but dig a little deeper and find that it is. Fairfield Central’s cross country teams may not have won the Low Country Invitational over the weekend, but seven of the teams’ top ten finishers set new season highs during the meet.
Hank White (18.08.89), Rylan Woodard (18:39.78), Parker Douglas (20:12.41), Sidney Wilson (20:21.78), Krishi Patel (21:36.00), Jurnee Warren (23:11.50) and Kensley Green (23:30.71) all clocked new season bests. White and Warren were the first finishers for Fairfield’s boys and girls teams.
