WINNSBORO – A popular song in the musical Rent is “Seasons of Love”. You can celebrate the season of love in Winnsboro with your special someone as you attend the Pine Tree Playhouse Valentine’s Dinner event at the Winnsboro Womans Club, 35 Vanderhorst Street, in Winnsboro, and enjoy a barbecue dinner and live entertainment.
The event will feature a special barbecue dinner and live entertainment from some of the theater’s most talented members. You may have seen them on the stage, now you’ve got a chance to enjoy their talent in a more personal setting as you sit next to your special someone. Featuring performances by J.T. Crossland, who wowed audience as Gomez in The Addams Family Musical; Andi Phipps, theater past president; show-stopping singer Sammi Scott, resident classical songbird; and Dori Ross, who you may remember played the saxophone in the recent A Pine Tree Christmas special.
The delicious menu you and your significant other will enjoy includes Carolina style pulled pork barbecue, mac ‘n’ cheese, cold slaw and baked beans.
The dinner will take place on Feb. 10, from 7-9 p.m. Cost is $20 per person, paid at the door. Proceeds go to support PTP productions and projects.
