WINNSBORO – During Monday night’s council meeting, members of council presented a Proclamation honoring Johnnie Ruth McCrorey for her 100th birthday. Council moved out of the building to present the proclamation to Mrs. McCrorey, who was sitting in a car in front of the building.
Mayor John McMeekin read the proclamation to her, then each council member spoke with Mrs. McCrorey, congratulating her on this huge milestone.
