Fairfield Ag + Art draws crowd

FAIRFIELD COUNTY – A farm tractor welcomed hundreds of weekend visitors to Fairfield’s Ag+Art venues that were scattered along the county’s rural roads from Ridgeway to Blair.

Farms offered everything from fresh farm produce, livestock for kids to pet and a variety of artisans who provided music, art, jellies and baked goods. The 11 farms included the Crazy Chic Heritage Farm, Gypsy Wind Farm, Wilde Rose Farm, Riding Ridge Farm, Home Grown on the Farm, and artisan venues including Slightly North of Charleston, the She Garden, Heirloom Fine Art Gallery and Ridgeway Town Hall and downtown.

The Fairfield Farmer’s and Artisan’s Market was also open and displayed fruit and vegetable artwork created by some of the finest young artists from the Fairfield
