FAIRFIELD COUNTY – This year’s Farm to Table dinner was definitely the biggest and best yet.
More than 135 guests gathered on Katherine and Gordon Doty’s farm on Hwy 34 just outside of Winnsboro, where they enjoyed a dinner catered by Sarah ‘n Geo’s, topped off with wine and strawberry-rhubarb pie. Will Hobgood entertained, the weather was perfect and the farm animals were home on the range.
The new organizers of the event, Jamie Vaine and Michelle Taylor deftly managed the event that included a silent auction that raised funds to support this year’s Ag + Art festivities.
It was a Fairfield night to remember.
