FAIRFIELD COUNTY – Registration is now open for Fairfield County Recreation Department’s fall sports programs. The Rec offers soccer, flag football, and tackle football for county residents ages 4 – 12.
The co-ed soccer league is divided in two age groups: 4 – 7 and 8 – 12. Football is divided in three groups. Ages 4 – 7 will play flag football; ages 8 – 10 will play pee wee tackle football, and ages 11-12 will play junior tackle football.
The age of the child on Sept. 1 will determine which age group in which they will participate.
Registration for flag football and soccer is $20. The tackle football registration fee is $40. Registration covers equipment and uniform costs.
Coaches will meet July 25 at 6 p.m.
