BLYTHEWOOD – The Bengal Swim teams opened their season at home on Thursday, Aug 24 at Columbia Country Club.
Both the boys and girls teams took wins over Camden and Lugoff Elgin. The boys team also beat Gray Collegiate.
Top performances for the Bengals were
- 200 medley relay: Gunner Norene, Will Crutchlow, Noah Broan, and Christian Newton
- 200 free: Andres Cubero
- 50 free: Morris Lee
- 100 fly: Will Crutchlow
- 100 free: Gunner Norene
- 400 free: Reagan Hankwitz
- 200 free relay: Noah Brown, Andres Cubero, Will Crutchlow, and Gunner Norene
- 100 back: Andres Cubero
- 400 free relay: Andres Cubero, Morris Lee, Christian Newton, and Reagan Hankwitz.
The Bengal swim teams will travel to Lexington on Thursday, Sept. 7 to on Lexington and White Knoll.
