WINNSBORO -Sherry Dockter recently retired from her role as FoodShare Director for Fairfield Forward. Throughout her time at Fairfield Forward, Dockter played a key role in the organization’s FoodShare initiative, which aimed to provide fresh and affordable fruits and vegetables to the local community.
As part of this program, and because Dockter was employed by Prisma Health. Prisma offered their support as a pickup location for the produce boxes, and Sherry regularly assisted with pickups every other Wednesday between 12-2 pm.
Although Dockter has now retired from both Prisma and the FoodShare program, FoodShare will continue to be available through Fairfield Forward at the Prisma Health’s Winnsboro location.
