BLYTHEWOOD – The Blythewood football team fell 24-7 at Region 3-5A rival Clover, while Westwood lost 40-0 at Ridge View Friday night.
Quentin Solomon scored the only touchdown for Blythewood (3-5, 1-2 Region), which came off his 57-yard first-quarter run. Landon Stone had two rushing touchdowns for Clover (6-2, 3-0).
Ridge View (6-2, 2-1) rolled up 435 yards of total offense, with Breylon Boyd passing for 127 yards and a touchdown and Tre Howard passing for 130 yards and two scores. Boyd also had a rushing TD. Siah Mack also had a rushing score against Westwood (1-7, 0-3 Region 5-4A).
Blythewood plays host to Rock Hill (5-3, 3-0), and Westwood plays host to region leader Irmo (8-0, 3-0) Friday.
