It is with great sadness that we share the passing of James Rodney Johnson. Our husband, father and grandfather was called home by his creator on Friday, November 17th. He passed peacefully from the comfort of his Blythewood, SC home.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Pauline; children and their spouses Keri-Jo and her husband Quinn; Mark and his wife Denise; Neva and her husband Randy; grandchildren Scott, Sara, Samantha and Kori-Lee and five great-grandchildren Cheyenne, Lily, Caleb, Elijah and Liam.
As our family grieves, we have found comfort in remembering the times of love and laughter we shared with Jim – we invite you to do the same at a celebration of his life on Saturday, December 9th at the Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church beginning at 1pm. Lunch will be served by the congregation at 2pm with a private gathering for family to follow.
