Joyce Carroll Turner, 91, of Winnsboro passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023. Born in York, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Meek Wallace and Mary Gardner Carroll.
She is survived by her daughters, Kit Turner, and Edy Mimms (Chuck); sister, Agnes Roller; two grandchildren, Rion Mimms (Lauren), and Elliott Mimms (Baley); and four great grandchildren, Adley, Maevry, Cora, and Turner.
In addition to her parents, Joyce is predeceased by her husband, Harold “Buddy” Turner; two brothers, Donald Carroll, and Wallace Carroll; and two sisters, Rosella Dover, and Faye Comer.
Funeral services for Joyce will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 1, 2023, at Bethel ARP Church conducted by Reverend James McManus. Committal will be private. The family will receive friends after the service in the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in Joyce’s memory to Bethel ARP Church.
