WINNSBORO – Santa will arrive in Fairfield County in fine style on Sunday Nov. 26, landing his sleigh squarely on the back of the Town of Winnsboro’s vintage fire truck at the town’s annual Christmas Parade.
The Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce invites the community to register for the Sunday evening parade, themed ‘Merry & Bright’.
The twilight parade will begin between 5 – 5:15 p.m. and travel South on Congress Street from Evans to Moultrie Streets. Entries must be decorated for the holiday.
There is no charge to be in the parade, however, you must register no later than Friday, Nov. 17. To register for the parade, contact the chamber at (803) 635-4242.
Following the parade, Winnsboro will light their Christmas tree, located in front of the Town Clock. There will be live music, hot chocolate, and maybe even a little snow. Santa will visit with the children on the first floor of the Town Clock building.
