BHS boys beat Fort Mill, fall at Nation Ford; girls on win streak

BLYTHEWOOD – T.J. Lewis scored 23 points and Will Olden added 13 as the Blythewood boys basketball team topped Fort Mill 51-46 Friday night.

While the Bengals fell 66-57 at Nation Ford Tuesday night, they stay atop the Region 5-3A standings at 5-2 and 17-6 overall.

The girls team (12-6, 5-2) beat Spring Valley 58-46 Jan. 23, knocked off Fort Mill 47-38 Friday, and dismissed Nation Ford 58-40 Tuesday night.

The Blythewood girls are second in the region behind (Rock Hill 20-3, 7-0) with three region games left to play.

The Bengals play host to Clover Friday, travel to Rock Hill Tuesday, and close out the season at home against Spring Valley Feb. 9.
