WINNSBORO – Fairfield Central hosted region for Eau Claire on Tuesday for their first meeting of the season. Senior basketball players Jalen Swilley, Rylan Woodard, Anthony Feaster, Kristian Golden and Azaria Davis (the lone girls’ team senior), along with senior cheerleaders, were honored.
The girls came away with a 58-42 win over the Shamrocks to move them to 3-2 in region play.
Both teams will travel to Eau Claire on Friday night, then to Keenan on Feb. 6. They will host Keenan on Feb. 8 for their final home game of the regular season.
