BLYTHEWOOD – The Westwood baseball team (5-2) fell to Region 5-4A rival Dreher 5-3 Friday, but beat Lee Central 19-1 in five innings Monday.
Ni’J Steadman went 3-for-4 with an RBI against Dreher. Xavier DeJesus went 3-for-3 with two RBI against the Stallions. Lee Central pitchers hit 10 Westwood batters.
Westwood played host to the Stallions Wednesday and to Swansea Thursday. The Redhawks return to region play at A.C. Flora Tuesday.
