FAIRFIELD COUNTY – During the days before Superintendent Dr. J. R. Green retired from the Fairfield County School District, he visited each school where he was honored in different ways.
He arrived at Fairfield’s Kelly Miller Elementary School to a drum-show by the KMES drumline. Then, inside, Dr. Green was greeted by the 3-5 year olds… each proudly showing off their banners – this one thanking him for ‘BEE-ing so amazing’ during the 12 years he led Fairfield County School District.
