RIDGEWAY – When the 2024 Fairfield Ag + Art Tour winds through Ridgeway June 15 – 16, it will be sharing the spotlight with Ridgeway’s 17th annual iconic Arts on the Ridge Festival. The Town of Ridgeway, Ridgeway Town Hall (The Century House), St. Stephens Episcopal Church, and Slightly North of Charleston Art Gallery will be Ag + Art Tour sites.
At the same time, the traditions of Arts on the Ridge will be in full swing all over the downtown area. Beginning at 10 a.m., visitors can start shopping arts and crafts vendors as well as 10 unique merchants in downtown Ridgeway. Stop by the town’s welcome center and grab a walking tour map showcasing historical homes and churches in Ridgeway.
Ag + Art tour maps can be found at any of the four tour sites.
Starting at 11 a.m., music will fill the air, beginning with performances by singer/songwriter Nancy Owen at Laura’s Tea Room patio, located at 105 S. Palmer Street.
And there will be more music in the Cotton Yard. From 12:30 – 2 p.m., Larry Jackson’s One Man Band will entertain. From 2 – 4 p.m., Susan Taylor and The Bunch Quitters will take the stage. From 4 – 6 p.m., Rose & the Arts: Wine Tasting & Tunes/Sherri Cafaro & Friends Band will perform.
