BLYTHEWOOD/FAIRFIELD COUNTY – We’ve had a front draped across the Blythewood & Fairfield county areas earlier this week bringing us some widely scattered rain and storms. That front has pushed south and out of the area being replaced by high pressure. High pressure should keep us dry to end the work week. I have left in a 10% chance of showers both Thursday and Friday just in case a shower or storm tries to pop up during the heat of the day. However, I think the ridge in place is strong enough to keep us rain free, but humidity sticks around.
By Saturday afternoon, an approaching front will bring an uptick in cloud cover and moisture along a southerly breeze. This could lead to isolated storms each day as the front lingers into the first half of next work week. While we could see a few storms each day, generally hazardous weather is not expected.
