RIDGEWAY – A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle on Longtown Road about two miles north of Ridgeway.
The incident occurred at 10:50 p.m., Monday, April 6.
According to Highway Patrol Master Trooper Brandon Bolt, a 2015 Dodge Charger was traveling north on Longtown Road when it hit the pedestrian, who died on scene.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured, according to the report.
There is no further information at this time. The incident is being investigated by the S.C. Highway Patrol.
